| | www.marketwatch.com - Video game maker 2K Games has made a deal with Playboy to include vintage covers and centerfolds from the magazine in its latest game "Mafia II". The game is set in the fictional US city of Empire Bay and takes place during the 40's and 50's. As players progress through the game they will be able to pick up virtual Playboy magazines.
"In partnering with Playboy, we are able to add a unique element of authenticity to the game by using vintage images from the magazine that illustrate the power of Playboy's influence on the attitudes and culture of that generation," says Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K.
